New Director Appointed

Surrey, B.C. - Carlin Gold Corporation (TSX Venture, CGD), ("Carlin" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Robert Culbert to the board of directors.

Mr. Robert (Bob) Culbert is a professional engineer with over three decades of international project and business experience. He has been the president of a land resource consulting company and a B.C. ski resort, and was a partner in the successful acquisition and syndication of residential real estate in western Canada. Over the past decade, Mr. Culbert has been involved in the public market sector and has served as an officer and director of several junior resource exploration companies.
